Event Rater Q&A with Willis Halaholo

Willis Halaholo (Twitter: @whalaholo) plays centre for the Cardiff Blues. Prior to joining the Cardiff Blues in Autumn 2016, Willis helped New Zealand Super Rugby team the Hurricanes on their journey to winning their first Super Rugby title. To date, Willis has played 41 times for the Cardiff Blues and has scored 60 points.

 

Willis tells us about his event interests:

 

Q: What types of events do you usually attend?

A: Usually music concerts and reggae festivals

 

Q: What is the best artist/group you have ever seen live?

A: I haven’t been to many. But I’m a huge reggae lover and so watching a reggae artist called Fiji live was awesome.

 

Q: Who are your favourite stand-up comedians?

A: Eddie Griffin, Chris Tucker, Dave Chappelle

 

Q: Which sports do you enjoy seeing live? (apart from rugby!)

A: I haven’t been to many. But if I was to choose it would be NFL, UFC, Boxing

 

Q: What is your favourite venue?

A: Principality Stadium

 

Q: What type of theatre events do you usually attend? (e.g. drama, musicals, opera) / Which show is your all-time favorite production? 

A: I haven’t been to one but am open to watching drama or musicals. 

 

Q: Who would be your three dream headline acts to perform at a festival?

A: 2Pac, Michael Jackson, Lucky Dube

 

Q: Are there any events/artists that you would like to see that you haven't yet seen?

A: Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Beyoncé
