Event Rater Q&A with Rhys Gill

Rhys Gill (@Rhysgill1) is a Rhondda born Welsh international rugby player who currently plays for the Cardiff Blues. To date, he has won 7 Wales caps and has played 26 times for the Cardiff Blues. The loose-head prop made his international test debut against Ireland in 2010. Rhys returned to the Cardiff Blues during the 2016/17 season following a seven-year spell at the Aviva Premiership team, Saracens.

In 2014 Rhys co-founded Stores4Floors (@stores4floors / website), based in Pontyclun and Whitchurch, Cardiff with fellow rugby player Ross Johnston.

Q: What types of events do you usually attend?

A: Comedy events and music gigs.


Q: What is the best artist/group you have ever seen live?

A: Ed Sheeran at Wembley, he was amazing. 


Q: Who are your favourite stand-up comedians?

A: John Bishop


Q: Which sports do you enjoy seeing live? (apart from rugby!)

A: Boxing and Basketball

A: Maddison Square Gardens

A: Miss Saigon


Q: Who would be your three dream headline acts to perform at a festival?

A: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stereophonics, Kaiser Chiefs
