Gareth tells us about his event interests:

Q: What types of events do you usually attend?

A:  I usually go to see live music, rugby and international football.

Q: What is the best artist/group you have ever seen live?

A:  When I was around 11 years old, I went with my family to see Status Quo in Swansea. It was an unforgettable night, I had a headache for three days. At the time I had long hair and I did too much head banging!

Q: Who are your favourite stand-up comedians?

A: I really enjoyed watching Micky Flanagan on the box over Christmas, but Rhod Gilbert was amazing when I saw him live!!

Q: Which sports do you enjoy seeing live?

A:  Rugby is my favourite sport but, to be honest, I would watch anything!

Q: What is your favourite venue?

A: Any event in a pub would be enough of an excuse for me, be it live or on TV! Nothing beats seeing Wales play rugby at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

Q: What type of theatre events do you usually attend? (e.g. drama, musicals, opera) / Which show is your all-time favourite production?

A:  As I have a young family I don’t have much time to go to the theatre at the moment but I look forward to having more time to do so in the future. Hamlet is my favourite theatre show and Joseph is my favourite musical. Tosca is the only opera I have seen but it is amazing!

Q: Who would be your three dream headline acts to perform at a festival?

A: Foo Fighters, Daft Punk and Guns N’ Roses would put on a show!!!

Q: Are there any events/artists that you would like to see that you haven't yet seen?

A: As I have tried to see him live on three occasions but failed, I would like to see Paolo Nutini.
