Event Rater is a website, iOS and Android app where ratings and feedback from attendees is used to drive quality within the events industry, delivering customer insight to both venue managers and event organisers. Event Rater provides an advanced analytics platform and produces research reports which highlight recommendations for improvements.

2012:

Event Rater Ltd was founded in early 2012 with the aim of providing consultancy, knowledge and expertise to measure consumer satisfaction within the events industry.

Founder and Managing Director, Jonathan Fry, launched the company based on his knowledge, having graduated with a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Events Management (UWIC, 2007-2010). 

2013:

The company was shortlisted as one of ten start-ups across the UK and Europe in the 'Best New Event Tech Start-up' category at the Event Technology Awards 2013 held in London.

Event Rater was also featured on the Event Manager Blog website as one of '10 Event Trends for 2013'.

2014:

Event Rater won the 'Best Digital' award at the Lloyds Bank Enterprise Awards 2014 (Wales and South West England Heat).

The Event Rater iOS and Android Apps were launched having received a financial grant from the Welsh Government Digital Development Fund (DDF).

Jonathan graduated with an MPhil research degree which had the aim of critically enhancing the original event/venue evaluation framework adopted by Event Rater (Cardiff Metropolitan University, 2012-2014).
